Subcontract Administrator
Job Description :
Will support a major subsystems deployed procurement team. Tasks include develop subcontract specifications, statement of works, terms and conditions, procurement of specialized materials, equipment and services, prepare bid packages, administration of repair and return contracts, evaluate subcontractor proposals, negotiate subcontracts, issuing properly authorized awards/subcontracts and participating in contract negotiations. Responsible for conducting cost analysis support, understand procurement activity under the guidance of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations) DFARS. Some travel required. Must be a US citizen, position requires access to special facility
Basic Qualifications
Experience in supply chain and/or procurement and/or buying experience
Desired skills
Microsoft Suite of Programs (Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Word
Knowledge of Windows, systems, applications and processes, SAP Knowledge is a plus.
Experience or understanding of government contracts
Should possess strong communication, follow up and computer skills and the ability to multi-task.
Must have the ability to work with others in a supply chain management team environment.
