Is looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to join the leadership team.

Job responsibilities include:
Responsible for maintaining ISO System (QS) - includes review, audits, training, updates, revisions.
Manage reported red tags daily - Inspector and Machinist initiated - detail, review, record, MRB, Tracking Rework, Sort or Scrap determinations.
Manage all inspectors' time wisely - first article priority, cross train, skill assessment.
Report quality issues to vendors in a timely manner - outside process incoming insp.
Respond to and when appropriate proactively advise quality concerns & non-conformances to customers in a timely manner - 8D- 5 Why Formats; root cause analysis Come up with different ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality goods - SPC - Sampling plan effectiveness.
Improve and review new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them.
Supervising inspectors, technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance - Attend/Review all first article submittals.
Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
Inspect the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final products.
Gaining feedback from clients, attending meetings, submitting reports, and assisting external auditors and inspectors.
Review all first article proformas for new jobs - accuracy, Gage methodologies, gage availability.
Gage calibration - Thread Gage management - Internal and customer supplied - Calibration & Records REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5-10 years' hands on experience in a quality control/management role.
Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and written.
Proficient in relevant software, working within ERP Systems, must be highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to use measurement instruments, calipers, micrometers, and Oasis Inspection system.
Familiar with continuous improvement initiatives such ISO 9001 Experience with developing/documenting procedures.
