Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes - Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities - Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms - Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements - Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels - Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify potential cost-saving opportunities - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Specialist or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management - Proficient in using purchasing systems such as Oracle EBS or similar software - Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and terms - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles - Ability to fabricate effective purchasing strategies based on business needs - Experience in contract negotiation and management If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a proven track record in procurement, we would love to hear from you.
