The Nurse Manager Endoscopy will provide oversight and leadership to the hospital's Endoscopy Services Department.
This department is composed of experienced professionals who are dedicated to the planning, organization, and coordination of services for each patient.
Some of the primary services of this department include Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colon and Esophageal Dilation, and Stent Insertion.
This high volume unit overseen by the RN Nurse Manager Endoscopy handles inpatient and outpatient clinic gastrointestinal procedures and specializes in digestive tract cases and liver service referrals in addition to being an advanced learning facility for Endoscopy cases in Los Angeles County.
The Nurse Manager of Endoscopy and GI services will report directly to the Director of Perioperative Services:
assisting in strategic development, policy revisions, and planning of clinical budgets.
The Procedural Nurse Manager will collaborate with an amazing staff of nationally recognized Surgeons, and manage a motivated and experienced nursing and administrative staff.
The GI Nursing Manager will not only oversee the day-to-day operations, but will also occasionally assist in procedures.
The Endoscopy Clinical Manager will also:
manage patient care services, ensure a clinically safe environment, and uphold the standards of the Joint Commission / OSHA.
