Full-time/Project/Exempt Wolf Connection (a nonprofit 501C-3) is seeking a Technical Project Manager with a proven track record of implementing large scale multi-year startup initiatives.
This project is one year into a 3-year contract to support the development and success of a virtual, social and emotional learning (SEL) initiative.
The right candidate will have the skill and drive to expand the initial contract into a global learning and healing movement, and to shape their career and the future of the organization around this movement.
The purpose of the initiative is to support youth and school systems around the globe to build and strengthen character traits and SEL skills.
The unique virtual platform engages youth to learn about themselves and humans through the teachings of real-life wolves and their wolf pack at the Wolf Heart Ranch in Southern California.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience successfully managing and implementing large scale virtual content and programs for youth and schools.
The Project Manager will:
Work closely with a cross-functional team to plan and organize the SEL initiative content strategy, oversee the development and roll-out of the virtual course and related content, hire and build an implementation team, synthesize data to communicate the impact of the project, and implement a multi-year plan for success.
Be detail-oriented and capable of collaborating across teams and senior stakeholders to develop/implement timelines and bring a strategic approach to fulfilling the activities included in this project.
This person will apply strong written and verbal communications skills to complete their work.
Work closely with Wolf Connection's Founder/CEO and Director of Programs, marketing and content teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
The Project Manager will manage and deliver on multiple project activities, including reporting on contract financial benchmarks and metrics, launching a county wide marketing campaign, and creating ongoing content for youth.
Create, build and maintain relationships with current partners, future partners and users.
The PM will be responsible for reaching the amount of users on the platform to reach the goals.
In collaboration with team members, the PM will ensure that the contract is met in all aspects.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate the SEL initiative across teams to drive alignment with the project's goals and objectives.
Develop, manage and implement a detailed project schedule and work plan that identifies and sequences the activities needed to complete.
Ensure that all work is delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget; provide regular reports on progress against goals and benchmarks.
Document project processes and activities connected to contract deliverables and funding Maintain a digital folder of funding-related documentation (e.
g.
, contracts, reports) that stakeholders can easily access.
Communicate project status and changes to staff and other internal and external stakeholders.
Identify underlying tasks and manage risks to meet project objectives and goals.
Identify and resolve project issues and facilitate communications in a timely manner.
Produce detailed progress reports quarterly and annual summary reports that document the initiative's progress including any program-related data.
Assist in the development and aggregation of new and existing media to create on-demand content collections that may include videos, short-form media, games, hands-on activities that promote social-emotional learning.
Work with Wolf Connection departments and content producers, program advisors and internal stakeholders to develop virtual, program-specific content that aligns with Wolf Connection's mission.
Manage content production and timeline - working in collaboration with the writers, designers, videographers, and other creators.
Oversee marketing team to help promote the content and collection through outreach, networking, social media, and other platforms.
Oversee editing and publishing of content.
Uphold content guidelines, including voice and tone, making sure content is optimized for multiple platforms, for SEO, and is consistent with the Wolf Connection brand.
Requirements for success:
? A minimum of 5 years experience successfully coordinating and overseeing projects.
? A minimum of 2 - 4 years combined experience in one or more of the following areas:
A) Managing the development of digital content B) Managing/developing a virtual learning program platform C) Developing social and emotional learning content D) Hiring and managing a virtual program team ? Experience developing and launching a new virtual learning program in uncharted territory.
? Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
? Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make effective public presentations.
? Knowledge of project management tools and software.
? Knowledge of learning management system tools and software.
? Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others.
? Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
? Strong skills in shared file systems (for example, Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.
) ? Proven ability to work on multiple tasks with competing priorities.
? Demonstrated success working in a team environment with diverse groups of people.
LOCATION This position will primarily be remote, with required quarterly travel to Wolf Connection's location in Acton, CA.
